About

The web,
unfiltered.

NeutralSpace was built in response to two converging threats: the encroaching surveillance of high-tech platforms that filter what you see, and the rising flood of synthetic content that pollutes what remains. We believe the web works better when everyone sees the same results — unfiltered, unranked by your history, uninfluenced by where you live or what you've clicked before.

Why we built this

Every major search engine today knows who you are. They know your location, your political leanings, your purchasing history, your fears. They use that knowledge to show you a version of the web tailored to keep you engaged — not informed.

The result is a world where two people searching for the same thing see fundamentally different answers. Where your search results quietly confirm what you already believe. Where the open web has been replaced by a personalised simulation of it.

NeutralSpace is our answer to that. Same query. Same results. For everyone.

Our principles

No personalization
Your location, history, and identity play no role in your results. You search as nobody, from nowhere.
Source diversity
We query multiple independent search engines simultaneously so no single algorithm shapes your results.
Radical transparency
We show you which engines each result came from. You see the machinery, not just the output.
Original sources first
We prefer primary sources, established publications, and human authorship over aggregators and synthetic content.

The team

The NeutralSpace Team
NeutralSpace is built and maintained by a small independent team who believe the open web is worth protecting. We have no investors, no advertising revenue, and no interest in your data. We are not affiliated with any search engine, government, or technology company.

How it works

NeutralSpace is built on SearXNG, a free and open-source metasearch engine. When you search, your query is sent to our server, which queries multiple search engines simultaneously and returns aggregated results. Your IP address never reaches the underlying search engines — only our server does.
